No group has as much fun when it comes to celebrating as the Irish. Villagers turned out in droves in their green, orange, and white colors during the 2017 annual St. Patrick's Day celebration. The weather was perfect and those wonderful smells of corned beef and cabbage, boxty (Irish potato pancakes), and sausages of all kinds, filled the air as throngs of festival goers tried to decide which food was their favorite. The festival began with an enthusiastic parade, complete with dressed-up golf carts, bellydancers, baton twirlers, cheerleaders, and Irish groups of all stripes. As for All Fresh Kitchen, our day was non-stop. Our speciality menu for the festival was Irish stew with Irish potato pancakes. By the end of the day, we didn't have one crumb left in our chafing dishes. Everyone agreed that this year's festival was the best ever!
